Love this backpack. Well made, fits everything I need perfectly.
The backpack is terrific. I broke it in on a recent train trip to Chicago, stuffing it with as much stuff as possible and it held up great. I also got several compliments on it. Only issue: the leather straps are not quite as flexible as I would like - closing all the straps securely took more time than I wanted. But I'm guessing the straps will grow more flexible in time. In all - a great backpack, worth the price, which was a little higher than a lot other backpacks.
I got this bag a week or so ago and have used it multiple times to break it in before I go backpacking! It has been super reliable. The main pocket is very big and has pockets on the inside for extra organization. The main space in the bag is closed by a drawstring, and the rest of the pockets close with just buckles. So if you are looking for a bag with zippers, this is not the bag, but if you are looking for a high-quality bag to last, I highly recommend it.

I’ve been using this backpack for about 4 and a half months now. I primarily use it for school and it does an excellent job storing my books/laptop. A potential downside is that it is difficult to fit more in this bag than intended. The canvas material is quite strong and you can’t really shove more books into it. So far the bag has held up well except for one of my side pocket buckles falling off, but that’s an easy fix. Overall, I really like the look and feel of this backpack.
Great pack! Definitely a little pricey, but I can tell it will have been worth it. A lot of these packs opt for magnets where the buckles are. Which is just, like, why? I prefer the simplicity and sturdiness of the buckle. For a student on the high speed the magnets make sense, but I bought this for day hikes and the apocalypse. Need them buckles. The only downside for me so far is that if you’re not keeping a laptop in the inner sleeve the fabric kind of flops around and gets in the way. I use an iPad so I may just cut that out and move on. Great pack!
